Who did what: participants

Within ELI-Hungary

  • EGI assisted DPC in their work
  • DPC (Danish Power Consult) supervised the activities in Hungary,
    and made the necessary funds available for the implementing participants
  • IFC was responsible for the implementation of the whole effort
  • MEE (The Hungarian Electro-Technical Association) ran the training
    programs of professionals and ESCOs, and provided consultancy for public
    building owners
  • the Hungary Energy Center managed the ESCO transaction fund and the
    technology demonstration fund
  • a media agency selected ran the residential CFL campaign
  • NGOs selected participated in the residential CFL campaign
  • journalists, schools, retailers, wholesalers, local governments, etc. took part in the campaign under the coordination of the agency
  • manufacturers, suppliers assisted the program by providing advise, and joined to the efforts with their own commercial campaigns
  • the Government arranged that ELI fits into the scope of other energy
    efficiency efforts in Hungary.
