Why a Next Generation of ELI?
In addition, in response to a groundswell of demand from manufacturers,
large consumers, and a variety of national programs emerging both
within and outside the ELI countries, IFC is working with several
international partners to transition the quality certification mark
developed for ELI to a self-sustaining quality certification program
for lighting products. This Next Generation of ELI will be built
around the ELI logo and the over 150 products already carrying the
ELI mark.
